Had a 11 day hunt in Coleman Co. just got home this afternoon. I saw a lot of young deer on most every sit had a couple nice 8's chasing every time they came in , a little horn tickling here and there. I opted for two culls this year as we haven't seen a lot 5+ old deer on cameras this year. So the elusive "Bullwinkle" came in on Sunday morning the 15 th jumped in my pen for a few minutes jumped out then proceed to start pushing doe out in the middle of my area, waited for him to turn broadsidish and got a good shot on him.I was scared his was fixen to take off after one of the doe. While not on our trophy list I was really proud of this dude he was the talk around a few campfires in the past and I got to close the book on this story.I scored him at 117 1/8" had a 21" inside spread he had lot of bone for not much score but that's okay with me .The 10 point spike freak came in on Friday afternoon at 3:45 and about 85 degrees made a beeline to the feeder at first I thought he might have a broken mainbeam but after binos and scope on 12 x I saw that wasn't the case.
