I carry mine when I hunt stands with less than a hundred yard shot. But I'm comfortable taking a neck or head shot out to a hundred and know when to pass if not a killing shot. Pigs will get a bullet tossed their way no matter. The Barnes load is the BEST period. I handgun hunt mostly so have the patience to pass on shots that would be a cinch with a rifle.

Other than the possible quiet factor why buy something with limiting factors What is limiting for you may not be limiting for others. Like Giblett, I handgun hunt. I am comfortable taking 350 yard shots with a couple of my handguns. For most, they would be limited to 50 yards or in with those same guns. The gun is capable, so the only limitation is the shooter and their ability to get within range of the deer. Don't place your limitations on others.

It is my go to hunting round, I’ve taken whitetail, axis, blackbuck, big hogs and nothing has made it more than 20 yards. Everyone on my old lease talked crap about it until they saw the results and several of them went and built one, I use Barnes 110 grain!

Any of the 125 grain lead bullets work very well. They are fast enough for good expansion and deep penetration. If you drop down to the 110 grain, the V-max or varmint style bullets will work ok, and expand easy, but the solid copper options work very well for penetration. I run the 125 grain SST or 125 grain HP versions. They work well for pigs and deer. I am making a huge run of about 4000 rounds late this week and early next week of blk out. I just got in a large shipment of bullets. What is your pricing for these rounds shipped to South Texas? Chad’s website: Dallas Reloads I started running 300 blk out ammo this morning. I will be making 2500 rounds of 125 grain Sierra SP, 1000 rounds of 135 grain Sierra HP Varmint, 2500 rounds of 125 grain Hornady HP, and 1000 rounds of 110 grain Sierra HP 2500 rounds of 125 SST will be on tap next week (most are sold though) Chad, your pm is full and you did not answer my email to your work. Need to get some answers on 300 blackout and maybe get some ammo if you have some.

Yes, there's no way to answer all the emails and calls right now. I just replied to your email, thought.
