And people say hogs have no natural predators... Who says that? Mountain lions, coyotes, gators. Hell I bet bald eagles and large hawks have picked off a few piglets same with bobcats.

It does seem that once a hog gets to somewhere greater than ~50 Lbs, the list of predators falls exponentially. At the end of the video, it does look like several more gators are thinking "I'ma gonna get me summa dat…"

And people say hogs have no natural predators... Who says that? Mountain lions, coyotes, gators. Hell I bet bald eagles and large hawks have picked off a few piglets same with bobcats. Lots of people. You can find it all over the internet, from state offices, to newspaper articles, to even posts on this forum. It is stupid, but lots of people say it. And, you forgot bears and wolves. Virginia says adult hogs have no natural predators... https://dwr.virginia.gov/wildlife/feral-hogs/#:~:text=Feral%20hogs%20are%20detrimental%20to%20natural%20habitats%20and,population%20can%20triple%20in%20size%20in%2014%E2%80%9416%20months. Piglet over 2 months old in Alabama have no natural predators... https://www.al.com/news/2018/03/feral_hogs_eradication.htmlSan Antonio News... https://www.ksat.com/news/local/202...pound-feral-hog-wreaking-havoc-on-ranch/Houston... https://www.houstonchronicle.com/lo...l-hogs-hurt-the-environment-14381424.phpMissouri... https://extension.missouri.edu/publications/g9457Plenty more refs, not going to bother listing them. Feral hogs have plenty of natural predators in the US. Problem is, we kill off as many of them as we can. Our primary hog predator (other than humans) in Texas would be coyotes, but coyotes do only go after the little ones.

Yep, I won’t let the Grandsons kill a coyote or bobcat

Yep, I won’t let the Grandsons kill a coyote or bobcat Well, the places I hunt the landowners say to kill every coyote I can. I've been out at night and heard coyotes yipping and howling, and cattle making all sort of distressed noises as the coyotes try to get in and steal a calf. So, I might let a bobcat go, but not a coyote.

Interesting! I always shoot every coyote I see, but the other evening when I played a piglet distress call on my electronic caller, a coyote showed pretty quick. I still shot him, and will shoot the next one I see.
