Sometimes, simpler is just better! The wife has the ladies coming for cards tomorrow, so nothing fried tonight. Can't stink up the house, you know.  We hadn't had a good home-made Cobb salad for a while, and had everything in the fridge tonight. Iceberg lettuce, tomato, cubed ham, bacon bits, blue cheese and Texas toast croutons. Some cottage cheese and strawberries for dessert. Broke out the finest Dixie china. Looks great! Wish I liked Blue Cheese. I can't do Blue Cheese or Cottage Cheese. Or ripe olives?

My hunting partner is the same. When we go out, he just substitutes cheddar cheese, and uses either Ranch or Thousand Island dressing. Have to admit, I've tried them and they're pretty darn good that way too!

I had a Cobb Salad for lunch today at Boomerjacks in Arlington.
It was not near as nice as yours Blank.
I love Blue Cheese.
