We had a group of 6 and we killed 140 pheasants and 30 chukar. This pic of my little brother and myself is after the 1st morning on Saturday. Quail Quest in Hunter, KS is an amazing place with the most accommodating people you could ever ask for. I will add more pics tomorrow. I am beat tonight.

Really nice accommodations. They don't cook meals, you bring your own food, but everything you need is there to cook with. Gas grill, pellet grill, charcoal grill and nice kitchen appliances and utensils. The house and shop are stayed the exact same temperature. No traditional heater though. They heat the house with hot water pipes in the slab. No cold floors.

Wild birds or released? (And I know released can mean a couple of things.) Released into the wild is different from "placed" birds.

I'll be up 150 miles SSW of there for opening weekend. I'm sure we won't see those kinds of birds but thinking it is going to be a good year.

They were released mostly with some that had been out a while too.

WOW! Man what I'd do for a couple pheasants right now. They are my favorite bird to eat.
