Prairies and Lakes/Piney Woods, my place is right on the borderline of both
Sometimes I wonder if it will get to the point you bring an attorney with you out hunting.

We hunt Big Bend, hill country, south Texas, and piney woods.

I hunt in 2 places. My favorite is LaSalle county, we have plenty of big bucks, and hogs. I have a place in Mineral Wells that I like hunting also. I don't hunt for horns, but it is nice to see 5-6 140+ bucks eating my Indian corn all at the same time. I love to hunt the hogs in Mineral Wells, and there are some pretty nice bucks and does there also. The deer there really love the indian corn, and seem to stay at the feeder longer. In LaSalle it is fun to get out there as there is not much hunting pressure where I'm at. I'm retired and get to spend most of the season there during the rut. It is a hoot banging the horns and calling up those bucks. I have not shot one doing that in about 4 years, but never get tired of seeing them come running in looking for a fight.
I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!
