Wait a minute, hold on. Steel shot doesn't kill ducks? So the hundreds of ducks I have killed in the last 40 + years of waterfowling, I scared to death? You have to understand, my bizmuth shot ducks are deader than your steel shot ducks, just like my Benelli shotgun kills ducks deader tham other shotguns. Now you understand, about dang time!

I was on my third shotgun when steel shot was introduced. At first I didn't like it but I got used to it. The birds I shot never did, they died just the same.
No high priced shotguns for me.and bargain ammo does the job too. I hunt with a Mossberg 190 2 3/4" 16 gauge that was given to me. No one wanted it because it had been neglected for a lot of years. I restored it and now it's my go to shotgun.
I have no problem getting my limit with it, and the cheapest ammo I can find. Why would I need more.
Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.
