Got the call that we had a bunch of birds in the field. So I loaded up my 5 year old and headed west for her first ever dove hunt. I have been looking forward to this day for several years and I was not disappointed with the time we had. I had blast explaining to her all the things that my old man explained to me. She definitely let me know when she saw a bird, and even pointed them out for me!! And I apparently need a new shotgun since mine "won't shoot that far". A sub-hour limit was great, but the memories are the best. OMG she is adorable. Those pics remind me so much of my little girl who now is 24 when she would go with me.
Great memories brother and I promise you they will mean so much more years down the road.....to both of you!
There is nothing better than spending time with your kids in the brush or on the water!
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
