Dinner time, gonna make a baked potato, on a brick in dutch oven.

Next time, no foil, poke a couple holes in the tater, coat it in bacon grease and roll it in kosher salt and put it back on the brick if you don’t have a cast iron trivet. Guaranteed good, true flaky baked tater. Using foil., you’re steaming the tater.

Not a millennial thing, I first saw it at Red Lobster long long ago. I like them that way because of the crispy salty skin. It is definitely the best part. Try it sometime.

I cook mine in a 450° oven in a cast iron skillet with a trivet.

^^^I roll with twice baked with all the goodies packed in, you need the foil to hold it in. Are you taking notes cast?

He was hell bent on eating Mexican food, but I already feed him brawtz dinner, huevos rancheros breakfast, and cooking him fried crappie tonight. The only thing I can’t do for him is shoot his birds.
