They say a power line from a Transmission tower fell down on top of their plastic sheeting, hoping it does not spread to the Lumber Yard next to it. They fear it is going to melt the transmission towers causing huge power outage for many people and business. George Bush & 151 are closed because of the fear of the lines falling on that hwy.

I just heard that they are concerned about the lumber yard going up. They were showing that it’s 1/4 mile long at this time and growing. Hope everyone stays safe.

I worked right across the road from there up until March, and my buddies from work said they lost power around 4am this morning. I believe it’s still knocked out for the immediate area.

I work right around the corner (2 miles) from there. I was at work last night when this happened and it knocked our power out at 12:15am. This is the second time that I have seen them have a fire like this over there. The other time was back around 1996 or so. All of the stuff that is on fire is all scrap/recycle material. If you look at their property on Google maps you can see all of the material lined up on the West side of property. A lot of this is stored right under the main power lines. I can see them getting a HUGE fine for having all this trash stored like this. There is probably a few acres of this material
