Just got back from Garner State Park.
Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever has is the Fat Bob at Bent Rim Grill in Leakey. The buns are super fresh, meat is juicy and flavorful, they have beer, and the view of the hill country from the patio is purdy nice too. cheers

Show me a better one than this. Sometimes I amaze my self. I made some of my brisket H.B. patties that I grind and heated it up the Blackstone. I added some jalapeno muenster cheese, my home made bacon, sliced avocado, lettuce and tomato and grilled the buns. The crust on the meat was fabulous to say the least.

Just read through all these pages, and surprised no one mentioned Woody's, in mineral wells. Haven't ate there in a long time, but they were famous for their burgrrs.

The wife an I went to one of our old favorite places to get a Burger "The Angry Dog" in Deep Ellum last week, we have not been in a very long time.
I got my usual burger with Pepper Jack cheese and Jalapenos, the meat had very and I mean very little flavor to it pretty much bland, the onion rings tasted like they dumped them out of a frozen sack and into the grease, yes they were greasy.

Disappointed big time especially for the price they charge, I think the burger with Onion Rings is $11.95 Cheese is extra $ Jalapenos are extra $ so I am guessing my burger & onion rings cost between of $14.00 - $15.00 + tax + tip

Kelly Farms in Lucas is a good one. Simple: burger and if you want grab a canned soda and chips from a cooler. Picnic style right off the road. The burger itself IMO is one of the best I've ever had. I think it runs about $10 if you get the combo.

I have heard great things about Rodeo Goat, there is one in downtown Houston, next baseball game we go to I want to go to it prior to the game.

Charlie's is a good one. We stop in there to eat from time to time.

Also tried Hooker's Grill in the stockyards in FTW the other day, as a suggestion from another thread on here. It was pretty good as well.
