"Still 5.99. I went yesterday and picked up one of their ez feeders. Anybody know how many bags to a pallet?"

A standard pallet of 50 lb bags has 40 bags on it.

They go through more corn then vast majority of Feed stores. It’s high quality

Their corn is priced that way so you stop and go in side. Same with their Gas prices, it’s so you stop & go in side.

What’s not cheap at Buccees..., food, drinks, clothing, etc. actually next time your their grab a steak and jap poppers. Their steak are pretty good quality actually

^^^Exactly this. Surprised Bobo left off ICE as being cheap and a draw. Bucees ice is so cheap I stop everytime rather I need it or not and just let it melt(its that cheap.) Denton one was packed today as I came south. Ditto what Jetdad said on 40 bags.

What is the max number of bags you can buy from Buccees? We need about 200 bags at the beginning of September. The local feed store closest to our lease is $8.25 and the Denton Buccees is $5.99, so that's a $450 difference. I remember seeing a sign that said no commercial sales, but I don't recall seeing any sort of bag limit.

I picked up one of the EZ feeders last month and asked about corn. They sell it by the pallet which is 40 bags, they have it in the warehouse area in the back and load it up with the forklift. I didnt ask about multiple pallet loads though, we only needed one.

Contacting individual Buccees locations via phone or online is near impossible, they don't list that info anyplace on their website. You might have to go in person to find out or hopefully on of the folks here knows!

Bought corn at the Shoppin Basket in Ballinger last week....6.99 for 50lb bag and the corn/roasted soy was 9.99 for 50lb bag. He said they are starting to get a truck a week and during the season they will get one every other day to daily. Plans to have plenty this year.

Corn retail should drop or at least it has on the commodity market.

Yes, told BW y’all had enough to not need me and I like the cleanliness of the corn I buy versus bulk. Plus, the savings wasn’t as big as I expected it to be last year.

McCoys in Beeville has new crop and very clean corn for $6.49/50# bags. Have to call this time of the year to make sure they have it in stock, cause it goes fast.

Odiorne Feed Store in Johnson City has re-cleaned 50# bags for $7.10. They clean and bag it onsite. It was super clean, hardly any junk in there at all.

Do not buy at Jupe Mills in Helotes. $8.25 a bag, and they didn't bat an eye (and it was a she grin). 'Needed a couple of bags at the last minute to hold long feeder legs down in the peekup bed. That price is just insulting. 'Won't be back. Suburbia. Strutty's in Fair Oaks (still suburbia) is way more reasonable.

Last time I looked at HEB the price was 8.21. Last season it was in the 6.50 range. We went elsewhere but I miss that apple scent.

I bought a 7 bags to start to road feed 2 weeks ago and it was $7.49 at the HEB convenience store in Kenedy.

It was $5.99 a bag at Bucees in Terrell (still) on Monday the 10th.
Also read in business commodity section corn was at a record
Bushel amount at 180 bushels/acre. Along with less gas with
Ethanol due to reduced travel thanks to COVID corn prices dropped.
Just not sure it will be passed down to hunters like it should.
Just an FYI

Btw- saw that Bucees is now selling deer blinds too at least in Terrell.
Will try and post pictures and info in other forum.
Have a great day

Struttys is a godsend.

Like Mummes used to be before they turned into a retail apparel and accessories store

I have 2 1000lb Ramball feeders, they have been filled multiple times with premium deer corn, $8+ a bag, neighbor across the fence uses whatever is cheapest and has filled his 300lb feeder once. He recently complained about having to dump out the corn in the feeder because of bugs and cobs stopping up his funnel. Is it worth the few dollars you'll save on corn to go with the absolute cheapest.
