I feed corn starting 1st weekend in September and stop usually in December. I also put out a homemade mineral lick. 3 tubes of salt. 3 boxes baking soda. 2 tubs of cherry koolaid WITH SUGAR and a box of cherry jello. I drop that sometime in the summer and again Dove weekend. It works!!!

Indian corn is better corn. X2. The pretty colors get their attention so they stay at the feeder longer.

So, you just pour the Black Magic on the ground straight out of the bag?
Yes. the instructions say how much to use and how much area to cover. Off of memory, I think it's about 4 feet by 4 feet. that's what I did originally, but with so much of the dirt now gone, it's become a bigger area that I spread it over. Probably 8 feet by 8 feet. You only put it out every 3 months.
