Well no matter what I highly recommend C&C, and this is from first hand and experience.

Btw, Chopped how is the article bad? Company offered a full refund more than once and attempted to replace it with a more expensive watch. Plus C&C is checking to see if there was a police report even filed on the second one.

Its a humblebrag to anyone that doesnt own a Rolex. I have a few watches, including an antique solid gold Daytona with a diamond bezel. My favorite to wear is a Citizen thats solar powered and sets itself from a clock that transmits the time via an RF signal.

Thats one drawer. Theres a couple more.

What did you take that picture with? A potato?

Thanks, and not the reason for the post. I post pics of my yard, dog truck and sometimes funny stuff.

There are a couple of members here who like to troll me and that's ok. I do believe Chopped does have good intentions, no harm no foul. Maybe I am fortunate, maybe lucky..either way I will support and stand by a company that goes beyond the call to make things right and C&C did!

The article I posted was just to show that they have had this happen multiple times. Sounds like in this and your case they have been solid making good on the mistake and to be 100% fair could happen with any seller that was not grey market.

I 100% do. Very hard to tell over written word, but I don't want to see anyone get screwed over on something I have knowledge on and can help them out. I have helped quite a few people on here find watches or answered questions about a watch they had found.

Yep. Timex makes a good watch. As does Casio.

Watches don't have to be expensive to be good.

I had a Suunto Core and another Suunto the name of which I cant remember. They're excellent watches

Someone asked for a pic of the Daytona. The only things on the watch that arent original are the stem and face, both of which I still have. No strap, I never wear it. The thought of leaving the house with it on my wrist gives me the willies.

Its 30 second early over the last 8 years. I set it as one minutes early to keep from being late.

It's also water proof. Take a look.

Cool pic. I've never been comfortable in the water even n the army during traing. Never liked it one damn bit. Got swept out to sea in a riptide in Cancun during my honeymoon while snorkeling for seashells. Fk that. Never again.

LOL, I feel ya!!!
I had my FK that moment in the last Triathlon I did, MY LAST TRIATHLON I DID! Swim was never my strong leg, I just survived it and killed the bike and run and quick transitions between. This particular race there was horrible waves and current, going out you were heading straight into the waves. I got overwhelmed and just never could get right after. Hanging my legs down and trying to reach the bottom for a break, was around 15 feet, no break. Bobbing up and down, catching more water than breaths, I grabbed a hold of the first jetski that passed me. 33% finished that day, was scary enough for me to throw in the towel on open water!!!

Can anyone see a watch in that pic we have seen way too many times? It is a watch thread so I am just checking to make sure I am not missing something.

I collect watches but have no interest in Rolex. For the same money, I would buy a Glashutte Original, Sea Q Panorama. I would then a watch, that's chronometer certified, with a hundred hour power reserve.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype
