As I have stated before, history repeats itself because history is made by individuals, and all individuals have human nature and a sin nature. This is what repeats itself. Not the knowledge or lack of knowledge of history. It is the nature of “men” to do these sort of actions. Satan rules this earthly kingdom, and many follow his desire for power and control. That is why history repeats. Man will be man. Always. Life on earth is always a battle between good and evil. As it will be when Christ comes and battles Satan and then send him to the lake of fire. I agree Bill, working in such conditions just invites trouble, I have been lucky to pick and choose the cities of my choice during my career, never even wanted to work for any of the big liberal cities. The differences between even Fort Worth and Dallas is like night and day, I can't imagine working in say New York City knowing most of the elected officials hate police.

And Edited to Say: All the officers I met from Dallas and Fort Worth are Great People, Dallas Swat has some of the best officers I ever met.....I'm just talking about the mentality of the city leaders.

I heard a reporter on the news say "The DA was asked why no charges had been filed yet, and the response was we don't have any at this time but except either manslauter or murder charges to be filed later this week". At this point anything that happens by an officer is going to bring charges to try to keep the peace and even if found not guilty the family will be paid by these cities.

I don't see how they file either, a good defense lawyer will destroy their prosecution, they are pandering.
