Of course, but never had hero worship. When I was playing professional baseball I could have gotten sigs that would leave most people very jealous, but wasn't interested.

Of course, but never had hero worship. When I was playing professional baseball I could have gotten sigs that would leave most people very jealous, but wasn't interested. Just to be clear you dont believe what you said earlier, right? About "Nobody is better or more important than the next guy" ......right? Anyway.... the wife and I are collectors, some people are, some people aren't. Ive always collected stuff, not because I "worshipped" rocks, baseball cards, old soda bottles, old coins, cars, and now Texas art, but because its a hobby, and now a way of decorating the house. My wife is a big time Longhorn, and she wishes to decorate her office in UT stuff....big deal. I dont know where your word "worship" comes into play here, but okay..... I guess.... Like in the big leagues? Or minor league?

Well, if it is, that's pretty cool. I was to young to follow college ball back then, so I have no clue. Apparently he is in the tech hall of fame so I'm guessing he was a good player for them.
