I ordered a TC Encore frame on Gunbroker from a large dealer about a week or two ago. I noticed it hasn't shipped yet and I sent a message asking what the deal was. They said the online buying panic for guns due to the riots, has backed them up to the point that processing purchases in the order they were received, still puts me 2-3 weeks before shipping. Just an FYI if anyone on here makes an online gun buy, don't get in a hurry.

May set a record for background checks. I’m not surprised you can’t find guns and ammo.

My buddy ordered a pistol last month and it still hasn't been shipped. Way before the metal retardation they call a peaceful protest started happening. I've seen on many large retailers on GB say leads times for shipping is 2-3 weeks. Thanks to the weaponized Chinese Kungflu

The message also referenced the complication of the China Flu. I just pulled it up and I paid for it with a credit card on May 19th.

I checked one of my followed dealers today and he has the lower I want still at a decent price. However I noticed much of his stock is now 3x what it should be. A decent 1911 was $1500, a couple of average ARs were 2200-2700, and there were several other glaring gouges.

If you're buying now then you're doing it wrong.

Really? We shouldn’t continue to buy guns?

Just don't buy anything from the price gougers and you're doing it just fine.

I bought a turkey gun for a project in May. Shipped USPS on May 12 from San Francisco. Made it to Sacramento on May 25 and hasn't moved since. Glad I don't need it for fall season.

Simple economics. If distribution inventory and re-supply are low or slow then retailers are going to charge higher prices.

Buying guns during a so called panic is not smart shopping however selling could bring top dollar for those that are panic shopping. Just sold an extra S&W Shield to some liberal clown for $500. I felt bad...for a minute then laughed.

A fool and his money. But if that's true, that makes you one of the gougers.

Right...I think you missed this part...he is a "liberal clown". He asked what I wanted for it, I told him and he was too eager to hand me five, $100 bills.

You have no idea what the word "gouger" means.

I ordered a case of 300BO ammo from TargetsportsUSA that was in stock. It took about 3 weeks to get it too.

Are guns considered a necessity? I dont think so.

I sold a custom AK for double what I paid back in one of the gun runs. Think I felt bad? Nope. I was prepared. The fool that bought it was just that, an unprepared fool.

The deals are still out there, cash in hand and the buy it now feature on gunbroker helps insure success if you want something.

I’m not seeing anything crazy. Bought two rifles and a revolver in the past week, all being under Msrp.

I have had texts and calls all week about where to buy particular guns and ammo so there is definitely some panic buying.

My Gunbroker purchase was a buy it now. The issue is getting it a month later due to the chaos.

Won my auction at 9pm Sunday 5/31. Sent money order, tracking shows I’ll receive rifle 6/8. This was from a top 100 dealer on gunbroker.

Bought the other rifle from smga yesterday. Who knows on that one.

I like guns. I typically buy a new one about every 6 mos. Since I am just continuing a long standing pattern, am I still doing it wrong?

No. I haven't noticed price increases on most firearms. If I did on one I wanted, I'd probably just wait. Most of what I'm looking at now are Elmer Fudd guns which no one is panic buying.

Last purchase I made a few weeks ago was a Ruger Blackhawk.

The price of beef and especially pork appear to be increasing far more percentage wise than guns and ammo.
