Desert eagle in 50ae Haha….for some reason this reminded me of Choctaw Bingo by James McMurtry. Especially with the Desert Eagle in 50 cal and me going to Oklahoma for family vacation Lyrics: Strap them kids in Give 'em a little bit of vodka in a cherry coke We're going to Oklahoma to the family reunion for the first time in years etc...... Bob and Mae come up from little town Way down by lake Texoma where he coaches football They were two A champions now for two years running But he says they won't be this year no they won't be this year And he stopped off in Tushka at that "Pop's Knife and Gun" place Bought a SKS rifle and a couple a full cases of that steel core ammo With the berdan primers from some East bloc nation that no longer needs 'em And a Desert Eagle that's one great big ol' pistol I mean .50 caliber made by bad [censored] Hebrews And some surplus tracers for that old BAR of Slayton's Soon as it gets dark we're gonna have us a time We're gonna have us a time Didn’t read the thread but this is one of my #1 drinking songs.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Bow mounted belt fed would work nicely.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

For wildlife, I'd go with a bow mounted harpoon and plenty of barrels. If you're thinking more about repelling boarders, a marine 12ga with bayonet mount would be perfect.

The biggest threat I've come across in TX and OK have been cottonmouths.

What’s a boat club? Kip, Poppy, and Fallon carry 6.5 creedmoors on outings with the boat club.

A quick update on this.
There is a big boat shortage. We tried to contact the boat club and they never responded. We went to a couple of dealers and they had almost no inventory. We ended up finding a boat and drove all the way to Gulfport MS to buy it. I launched and drove the boat in the sea for the first time in my life.
2 things I learned: There is a big learning curve. It's not that easy to operate a motor boat. No need for a dedicated gun. My G26 is enough and I might not even take that.
What's next? Buying a class A RV in the coming days and take the boat on regular trips (I can work from home....or RV for that matter....thanks COVID....). My wife doesn't like the lakes around here and want to go further (at list 4h drive). This will be our first RV. I'm already dreading towing and launching a 21ft boat with a class A RV!
All of this is so overwhelming that a dedicated gun is the last thing on my mind.

One that will shoot underwater would be good.

A 12 gauge w/00 Buck comes in real handy fishing in the gulf, mainly for shooting big sharks though before bringing them onboard. Fresh water boys ain't gotta worry about that.
