Yes I was hunting for them specifically. I had seen them in the area the day before, so I downloaded a few red stag roar sounds to my Fox pro. It was just after sun up and I hit the call twice over a 3-4 minute period and they came running in. I don't know if they would have came into view or not, if I wouldn't have used the call.

Wasn't even on my radar until I saw the first one about 4 years ago, across the fence from my box blind. He was about 4-500 yards from where I was hunting over a wheat field. That stag ran the heard he had 5 Hinds with him, and you could tell he wasn't a whitetail without the binoculars. Then it was like holy crap, and start praying he jump the fence and move on over to my place. He went the other direction of course. My daughter spotted him first and said "dad what's that?"
