Yup, pronounced bodark.
I grew up just across the highway northwest of the H on horse track.
Now live in, not what it used to be pointing north.

I quail hunted in several of those locations. I remember one great pasture off Huffmister road.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

We all make our choices driven by what is most important to us. To each his/her own.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

My new neighbor is an ex NFL place kicker and an ex Sooner. That gives him a double whammy.

I'm not making this up. There in a Farm to Market road near me named Bois D' arc road. The locals call it Bo dark road.

That's how we say Bois d arc. I don't know that I've been heard it pronounced another way.

That's like saying the Dallas suburb of Plano is country.

There are cattle across the road from my house.

Saw this. Its from the riches area.

Historic Heights home asks $2 million
The one-story, wood-frame cottage at 219 W. 11th St. was built in 1904 by George Burnett who insisted the house be elevated seven feet

And there are still some old farms in Plano/Richardson that have cows. Still doesn't qualify as "country"

If you can legally shoot a dove in your yard you live in the country if you can’t you don’t live in the country.
