agree and disagree some of us are old, single and have a little extra cash to spend on toys. i am in the camp of buy the best you can afford. some are young, have kids and have to pick their battles with Mama and the household budget. some spend $5,000 on a custom rifle, NF optics, load Berger Bullets or Hammerhead's , buy several powders to try, etc...... some, as Jason points out, scrape up $1000 and put a resectable, really good shooting rig together. it just depends of the individual. i do agree, if you got the money, buy a NF base not a cheap, bent, EGW

Please Buzz, do tell us about bent EGW bases. This is the first I’ve heard of it. Same Out of about 50 I've installed, zero trouble, ever.
