The old folks used everything. Early 60s we kept feet, heart, gizzards, livers and undeveloped eggs from the hens we butchered. They were yellow with fat and the dumplings or dressing was the finest.

Saw a guy at the farmers market with bags of crispy chicken feet for dog treats. He said they were very healthy for your little buddy. I bought some other type of treats from him and he gave me some feet to “try”. I gave my dog the treats I bought, but the feet ended up in the trash.

I’m sure they would have eaten them, but I threw them in the trash. They smelled nasty.

I have had them at dim sum restaurants. Dim sum good feet? Not really but I can say I tried them I ate a lot of chicken feet. They are good. One of my girlfriends back in the day would make them and my first wife's Dad was Chinese so they made them often at his house often. I liked them in sweet chili sauce.

If offered to me I would try them. There are thousands of other things I would buy for $1.98 lb before spending a penny on that. Does look like good Catfish bait

I had them in Hong Kong. Tried one bite and won't ever eat them again. Tasted like nasty grizzly chicken fat.

They're all over the place in Singapore. Chicken feet, braised duck heads, you name it.

I have tried them, pretty much just to say I had. They aren't bad, like most things meat is meat, but I will never buy them to cook or save any from processing again.

The feet for eating should be scalded it takes the outer layer of nasty off. I don't know if I would call it meat, perhaps that was the wrong word, pretty much the under layer of skin, connective tissue and fat is what is eaten. You have to cook them a long time to break stuff down. The ones I did were cooked in a pressure cooker a bit and then fried or grilled.
