Whistle pig is great, and definitely not cheap. Let me know if you need a drinking partner ever -- I've got a special edition 12 that I picked up recently from Goody Goody

I have had a few bottles of the Whistle Pig 10 and 12 year, and Boss Hog, but not the15 year.
We will need a review smile
I got this one the other day, 1.75 liter, biggo bottle.

I liked Eagle Rate when it was cheap and available, not it cost too much and is hard to find

I agree. Just a few years back my wife bought a case of six for $23 a bottle. Hard to find now and even harder to find for <$30.
This huge bottle was $57.88, I thought that was a great deal. That would be equal to $24.80 for .75 liter.

My local liquor store has a decent collection of whistle pig. Haven’t tried it though.

I was drinking BIL’s Eagle Rare, I spilled the ENTIRE GLASS right in front of 2Beez wife and Momma. I’d already had 1 so I knew it was good so I soaked it all up, put it back in the glass and drank that sucker to the bottom like nuthin happened. Ask me if it was good.

Of COURSE IT WAS! Even spilled on sealed concrete floors, soaked up with a paper towel and squeezed out over new ice, I highly recommend Eagle Rare if you can find it up

Whistle pig 10 & 12 are great, I don’t pick up the heavy rye on either.

15 year price is pretty high for me, congrats though!!!

Please let us know how it is, sir!

Eagle rare is great and cheaper than Garrison.

Whistle pig is getting ridiculous when 18 year is $350 a bottle

I bought three bottles last time I found it. Great for the price just hard as hell to find in NTX.

I’m sure it’s good. Is it $200/bottle good?

Haven’t tried it yet, but i did make the mistake of not shopping around. I bought the Specs hand selected barrel. Apparently they pick one barrel that’s bottled for them. This one happens to be 115.1 proof. Also embarrasingly priced. It better be good. Looks like they only had 132 bottles to start with.

Store pics are almost always better than a typical bottle of the same item elsewhere.

Didn’t even get to open it. Busy day today and it looking like grand kids tomorrow, which I’ll take any day. Back to work Saturday, so it’s looking like next rotation.
