Do copperhead have different color phases other than before /after shedding, or does location/habitat influence coloration?
All I recall seeing are more copper/dark burnt orange / brighter colored.
Stick out like a sore thumb against tree bark pretty easy to see in grass, hard to see in fall leaves.
Took me awhile, I see 4. Was stuck on 3 long enough to get got.
