So let's say for under $750, what do you recommend with the below info, prefer full size, at least a double stack, since it will be carried OWB.
Left in the truck, so liable to get dusty, and while using open cab tractor. Carried while riding 4 wheeler to check water gaps and fence lines, so possibility of being splashed with water and mud. Then just your regular everyday ranch work carry.
Will probably only get a deep clean once or twice a year. Glocks need not apply unfortunately, I can't point one for nothing.

I’m thinking you’re wanting a semi-auto but your needs describe a 4 5/8-5.5” Ruger Blackhawk in 357, 44, or 45 Colt to me.

I've been looking at pistols with threaded barrels too. Really like the Beretta m9a3, but not liking the price tag really.

Springfield XD 10mm, or a CZ, but what you are describing would be a Blackhawk or a redhawk in 44 mag in stainless steel..
Every time I bumped into a hog doing work like you describe I’ve only been able to get one or two shots off before they disappear in the thicket.
Plus a revolver would give you the option of a shot shell for a rattle snake encounter.
I bought my blind mother a S&W governor it will shoot 45 acp, 45 long colt or 410 I’d think that would be the best ranch kinda pistol and they are about $700 new

Dirty conditions and inexpensive, I had an answer, but you already said no to it.

I'd look at a revolver also. For ranch work, you can load up 2-3 rounds of snake shot and 2-3 rounds of regular self defense rounds. I always needed the snake shot around the deer lease when working.

Oddly enough, I don't see many snakes at all, but I still wear snake boots everyday.. Yet to see a copperhead or rattlesnake in 2.5 years. I've seen a couple of cottonmouths, but would of never had a shot opportunity. Dirty conditions and inexpensive, I had an answer, but you already said no to it. Haha, I've tried. Every time I point a glock it's cattywompus. Not much use in a pistol you can't shoot straight or instinctively lol.

Springfield XD or S&W M&P. Both are relatively inexpensive and have a good grip angle. I too can't get used to the glock grip angle.

Doesn't help on the price point, but my go to is a FN FNX 45. 15 capacity in the mag, threaded barrel, it's in FDE so you can't tell how dusty it is but it still works, and I load alternating shot shells and JHP for the first 6. Fantastic gun and wouldn't trade it

The thread says ranch pistol, but your description indicates you need to have a high round count. What is the intended purpose of the pistol?

You voted it down, but I usually carry a Glock 32. When it's more likely to be a snake day, a Ruger LCR with 8 rounds of 22 snake shot. As far as threaded, I really haven't found a good way to carry one of my 22s with the can on them. Too long and unwieldy. So I usually wear Howard Leight headphones if I think I might need to shoot a time or 2.

Pig poppin, skunks, trap line dispatch, personal protection in case of trespassers, just used for whatever.

FN 5.7 but you're gonna have to save up a little more.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

38/357 revolver would do for most. Full power 357 and you won't need much capacity. Clean it every 10 years and you would be fine.

I’d do a revolver especially if it sits loaded all the time, a 686 + or a 317 Smith would be just fine..

XD or M&P if semi-auto, but I agree given all your requirements with the recs for a revolver.

357 da/sa revolver would be best imo, if you can live with the round count. If not an xd/mp/glock popo trade in, in 40. Then with the dollars saved buy one of those 1911ish gripped glock 80 percent lowers, if you go glock

Pig poppin, skunks, trap line dispatch, personal protection in case of trespassers, just used for whatever. 357 - carry a few extra rounds if you think you'll need them, but it's highly doubtful that you would. I keep 2 shot shell rounds and 4 38's in mine. I've killed hogs out to 40+ yards and you don't need to worry about missing the snakes....

I carry a Judge Poly Defender when I'm working around the property. Always have a rifle near by though.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

The Keltec PMR 30 has done everything I've needed. Haven't seen anything that can handle 22mag to the forehead or ear.

I carry a Blackhawk in .357. I have only run out of rounds one time. I stepped on a rattlesnake, jumped in the air and screamed like a little girl. I then emptied my blackhawk all around that snake's head. First time I ever missed six shots in a row.

I know you said you don't like the grip of the Glock but have you tried a Gen 4 Glock. I had a few Glocks over the years and always got rid of them because I hated the grip angle. Every time I tried to aim one I had to cant my hands downward to align the sights. The Gen 4 came out and it felt great in my hands. Plus they came with adjustable backstraps. A Glock 40 MOS 10mm with Burris Fastfire 2 is my hunting pistol now. Dave in TX
