Leupold. Don't settle for less. I've had only good experiences with Leupold, and their customer service/repair has repaired several scopes with no questions asked. In all cases, it was my fault the scope failed, not Leupold. I've been burned, big time, by Bushnell, and other inexpensive brands.

You can get some decent Pentax scopes from Cameraland for around $100.. I have used Gameseekers and Pioneers.. I am very happy with them. They were a big jump up in quality from the Wal mart type scopes I used to have.

Iagree with cuzins8. BSA scopes are paper weights. I put a sweet 17 on my marlin 17 hmr.It wouldn't hold zero.

243 wssm , I bought a nikon 3x9 bbc and it the biggest pos i have ever had in my life . I had tasco hold better than the nikon . Not to get anything started just got ahold of a bad one i guess .
