If folks would take a moment and read the order, it is all spelled out clearly. No need for conjecture about "closed borders roadblocks and skirmishes."
With a Louisiana plate you will likely get pulled over. Your vehicle and personal ID info will be recorded if you decide to proceed.
You will have to list your intended Texas quarantine destination. If you are obviously ill, you may be escorted right to your quarantine destination.
If/when an officer visits your stated quarantine location you had darned well better be there. The Governor will be asking county and local law enforcement to assist in these checks.
This does not apply to most commercial traffic, law enforcement, utilities, and other essential personnel.
Now what fun would that be...roadblocks and border skirmishes are much more fun...
