Don’t laugh but Doc Marten’s work boots from Academy’s are hard to beat. I wear them in a wet environment with harsh chemicals daily and they are still going after 3 years. They look rough but get the job done. Just ordered a new pair. My brother farms/ranches and would wear the soles, especially the heals, down on work boots, different brands, in about 2 months. I got him a pair and he is on month 6 or 8 and they still holding up!

Best thing to do is get you a couple pair and rotate wearing them Most boots rot from the inside,if it has a removable liner take it out after wearing to help dry out.

Cabalas kangaroo with goretex lining for me, I often wear rubber knee boots around the house.

Non cowboy look but my favorite are Haix Had to look them up. Saw a couple pair that looked alright. What’s good about them? Size (16) Quality, durable, sole ( concrete for me) Gore Tex Warranty Customer service They tend to last a little linger for me being at the 300# club.

Do you need safety toe? My favorite work/ranch boots are my Lucchese Barn Boots but no safety toe. They ain't cheap, but they are like butter on your feet and they hold up better than my Justins or Ariats did. https://www.lucchese.com/shop/boots/rusty/M0029.CF

You can buy that ariat insole and put in whatever boot you want. I usually buy .5 size up and use those insoles. That's the only thing ariat has going for them bc their boots suck
And cavendars etc will let you insert those insoles in the boot first to try.

These come in steel toe too. I've been getting longer out of these than the Justins I used to buy. Good soles. Same sole that comes on Ariat boots I use. One year and done, worn every day.

Ariats have held up pretty well for me, but you need to rotate them and allow them to dry and air out to keep the stitching from rotting no matter what brand. I have three pair of work boots and try to not wear a pair more than two days in a row.

I like the idea of Kenetrek work boots. I can handle the way they look to the elk, but at work, I have to look good, Bobo. My vanity can’t handle those boots every day.

For every body that’s griping about boots wearing out in 1 year, if you wear them daily then you should only be in them for 6 months and replace them. That’s what I do with my work boots, sure the interior and exterior still look good, but the support in the sole is shot. My ankles and knees thank me for this

Sucks they cost so much but are resoleable, kenetrek can repair/rebuild them too Think of bright side, might think you are woodland hotshotter on the side

Caught off guard BOBO did not offer up Funtasma boots. I have two pairs of Funrasma’s, w/custom carbon fiber insoles, and 24k gold tipped laces . Don’t knock the funtasma’s. Super comfortable

Bought new Superfeet insoles and new socks couple weeks ago. My 1 yo boots feel brand new to my feet now. But still have worn soles. Will replace when pandemic restrictions are relaxed.

I really should replace the Superfeet insoles after 6 months. They really help with plantar facsitis not coming back. But they are $50, and I’m a tight wad sometimes.
