Already have a bought and paid for trip to NYC for the week of June 20th. Didn't buy the trip insurance. Probably going to get screwed.

Wife had planned to go to a friends wedding in Maui in June....that's probably out. We have a fishing trip in June along the same time I plan on making. Son has a Trip to NYC & DC with his school in May that we will see how that plays out.

I have a trip to Canada for a Moose Hunt in October that quite frankly I will be quite upset if I can't go

Supposed to leave for Napa on the 25th, we are more than likely going to cancel. We booked the flights on points, we did refundable hotel reservations. All we would be out is $50 for the car rental, which I think wouldn't be hard to get back.

Just canceled on a coworkers wedding next week in Arizona. IMO if people were not so naive and selfish this thing wouldn’t get out of hand. To just go about your business like it’s not happening is why this thing is spreading. The NBA player who has it joked 2 days ago about it at a press conference and touched all the microphones on purpose as a joke. Perfect example of people not taking it seriously.

President Duterte just closed all international flights from entering Philippines from March 15 for a month, and also just locked down Manila and no domestic flights in or out nor any travel

I will have to rebook

Much better to run around screaming, hoarding TP and making your own hand sanitizer out of alcohol and sunburn gel. loco
The virus transmission may subside but it is never going away. Most likely to mutate into the next version.
You are likely to get the virus at some point anyway.

Enjoy life while you have it but be smart and take then precautions you can.

Heck. You can do everything right and still get hit by a car.

My wife and daughter have a trip to NY planned for early April - going to cancel. I was supposed to go to a trade show in Phoenix next week, and another in Las Vegas in May - at this point, the first one is cancelled, and the second has all 40,000 attendees on notice that they will be making a go/no go decision soon.

A colleague of mine left today with his family for Maui. I spoke with him last night to confirm he was going and he said too late to cancel, so they are going to make the best of it. My fear would not be on getting there, but on the real potential that flights home will be impacted.

I'm far from running around screaming and hoarding TP. I'm also not sticking my head in the sand either. You're right, I probably will get it. Because of people not taking it seriously and just wishing it away.

We aren't high tone international travelers. Had a weekend camping trip scheduled for this weekend and next. Rain isn't doing us any favors.

Our big long camping trip is in June in the Rockies. I doubt this puts a hamper on it. Only time will tell I guess.

We have three big trips booked for the next 3 months....not sure if we will be going on any of them.

I damn sure would not go on ANY cruise right now.

Yep, older people should definitely stay off cruise ships.

There is no way I would get on a cruise ship right now. Listen to some of the account of those people who were quarantined on the ships, sounds very unpleasant. I was supposed to go to Japan for two weeks in May but have cancelled my trip.
