Raw egg on a burger, I'll pass

That's how I eat my eggs, over easy. There's so many flavors going on with this burger, the egg doesn't contribute to the flavor at all, just brings it all together.

Give me an idea of the scene there, is it good like 1845 happy hour good?

Both are target rich environments. Not a lot of difference, Tavern isn't as dark, bar area smaller but always plenty going on. The drinks at The Tavern are way better than 1845.

Not a raw egg but a cooked sunny side up over easy egg on a burger makes for the best burger EVER!

Outback steakhouse has a good hamburger. You get it with Blooming Onion on it. I always have a baked potato rather than fries.

Here I thought I had found the best burger at the Oso Cafe in Capitan, New Mexico -- across the street from where the real Smokey Bear lies buried. Course that burger has Hatch chiles on it.

Had lunch with my son and a friend at the Grizzly Burger House on 190/George Bush between Custer and Alma next to Shuck & Jive, it is the old Burger House location.

Friend got the 1/4 lb which looked like a kiddie burger one a small bun, son and I got the 1/3 lb, the burgers were very average at best.
Also ordered a large Cheese fries with Bacon & Jalapenos, another very average.

Zero plans on ever going back to this place!!

Should have went to Rodeo Goat, right by there. You ever been there? Not sure if that place has been mentioned on this thread, but that place has great burgers...

My son and I ate at Burger House on Marsh Ln in Addison/Farmers Branch yesterday. It was good. I've been eating at their various locations around Dallas for 20+ years and never had a bad meal.

There are a lot of great burgers in Dallas, but I think my favorite is the Bill's Burger at Beck's Prime on Forrest Lane. It's a 1/2 pound Angus patty with sautéed onions, sliced cheddar, bacon, jalapeño, Prime Sauce, and lettuce grilled over mesquite coals. At $14 for just the burger, it's not cheap, but it is really good.

Yes I have been to Rodeo Goat at Market Center Blvd and it was very good, if you flip back to page 16 you will see my positive review on it.
I like trying new places so I gave Grizzly Burgers a shot, did not work out.



John there use to be a Burger House real close to the house at Coit and Campbell that closed, we liked it. This Grizzly Burger House is not the same or very good.


On a side not, there is also a JC Burger House that were pretty good!

I think there are 3 left. There is one on Mockingbird, east of 75, one in Snider Plaza and the one we ate at on Marsh. I don't recall ever eating at JC's. I have to give it a try sometime. I just don't get to Dallas that much anymore. When I do I tend to go to Asian Mint at Forest and 75. Not burgers but really good food.

Last night the wife said; I am in the mood for a greasy hamburger, how about you? In with a grin honey so off to Sky Rocket she went.

I just had a bacon cheeseburger at the newly opened Freddy's in Gainsville and it was pretty dang good.

It is almost like a pick-up line with my wife now Last night same thing: Wife says I really feel like a good greasy burger. So off to Sky Rocket burgers she went.

I get the same thing; Double meat single cheese all of the way with Jalapenos and no special sauce just Mustard.

If you ever near Terrell, you need to check out a place on FM 429 north of town called Able Springs Cafe...basically a gas station with a cafe attached. They make their burgers with all fresh ingredients and even bake their own buns. Best burgers anywhere near Terrell!

Unfortunately the Liberty Burger in Allen is another victim of the
Outlet Mall shootings. They could not overcome the loss of business
during the shutdown plus employees not returning once it was able to
open back up.

Dairy Mart & Woody's in Mineral Wells have a good burger.
