Guy was a big time jerk. I would of went through the proper channels to make him stop. That being said he prob wouldn’t of been hitting the seat if I was in it. Would of loved seeing a video of him getting escorted off he plane. She tried...........didn't work.......and he didn't get escorted off the plane. They gave HIM a free drink.

I recline if a long flight and I’m trying to sleep. Never understood why people think it is rude, buy first class if you want more room. I hate flying, I would rather drive all day than fly.

1. Go (but I typically don't)
2. The guy was a doooooosch for being rude. I agree, he would not have done that if a guy was sitting in the seat in front of him. He was probably pissed off because he was in the chit house row. Hint...drinks accidentally spill all the time!
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Damn right I recline my seat on long flights in coach, especially when I was flying back and forth to the Middle East in coach. Push on my seat like that and we're gonna have problems son. I don't have much patience for that sort of nonsense. Thank God I fly Business on long trips now. Sure is worth it to be able to lay my seat all the way down and go to sleep, especially when you're in the air for 22-23 hrs per trip.

This was never a problem when I was flying a lot. Problem now is the airlines have all moved seats closer together. I can't stand the full upright position so I will recline it somewhat

I usually don't...unless it is a long flight and the person in front of me reclines. On certain planes there is no room if you recline. Airlines can do what they choose because every flight I am on is dang near full...no worries about lost business regardless of how uncomfortable they make the seats.

Pretty sure there is more to the story - as in he was eating and liberal Karen flung her seat back. She was asked to raise it up nicely the first time - but she had to be a liberal whiny you know what about it.
Can't stand people leaning their seat back into my lap. I don't lean mine back. It's inconsiderate if you have someone behind you. That is the main reason we pay extra to sit front row. I refuse to fly anywhere other than sitting in a front row seat. Removes that problem.

Who knows. On another thought...............IDGAF about the story. Beat that arse or whine.........its all on her.

A jerk, jerking around with a jerk. That's a circular reference. <<< And that's a double entendre, if you will.

Those American Eagle jets are barely even comfortable for an hour. I flew one in to Gainsville Fl. on short notice in Dec. To att ed and sisters memorial service. I could have taken larger plane in to Jacksonville if I I had more time to plan. I am glad they did not have those planes when I was flying 30 weeks a year.

Seats lean back by function. If the airlines didn't want you to recline then the function would be eliminated.

Seats lean back by function. If the airlines didn't want you to recline then the function would be eliminated. Exactly. It’s your seat, adjust it how you want. It’s stupid to expect someone else to not recline so you have more room. When someone reclines in front of you, there is still plenty of room to eat or what ever, but if you don’t like your seat and the space provided, don’t buy it.

If the guy behind you asked you not to recline, would you honor his request? I would ask him how much is worth to him. It’s my right to recline, I paid for that right, but for the right price I will sell it.

That’s what airlines needs to do, charge extra to recline, and charge extra to be put in a seat behind someone that has not paid for reclining right. Damn, I’m a genius.
