With tomorrow being Valentine's Day, what will you be getting the wife/boss/War Department?

Wanting to get started early, I went ahead and gave my wife some chocolate-covered strawberries from Kroger.

The restaurants will be busy tomorrow night no doubt.

Just another day for us. No gifts will be given.

She already has me, what more could she want?

Maybe a new English Pointer pup?

My hubby knows flowers and chocolate's are a waste of money. However, ammo is perfectly acceptable.

This is the same for us, my wife says she would rather me treat her like my valentine every day of the year. Not just one.

I have flowers coming tomorrow. We will cook at home Saturday to celebrate. My wife’s schedule is hectic right now, so by the time we figured out when we would celebrate, finding a reservation at a nice restaurant was impossible (and I tried nine different places).

I’ll grill a tomahawk and, weather permitting, we will sit by the outside fire with some wine and music.

Nada.... I work my arse off so she can stay home and wrestle the grandchitlins ....every day is Valentine’s Day

Not sure what my wife is getting me but I’ve given her myself and that’s enough.

I usually buy her red roses, more of a memory thing as our first actual date was on Valentine's day to a youth group church Valentine's party and I gave her a red rose corsage. I have also bought rose bushes (mainly red) and planted them in a rose garden, again back to more of my own tradition to enjoy throughout the year instead of just a few days in a vase ... tomorrow will be 45 years from our first date that started all this.

What we have been doing the last 10+ years was we take a day trip somewhere around central Texas to see something new (most new to her since I've covered most things) ... just a nice day spent totally focused on being with each other. Usually brunch somewhere along the way, see some sights, early dinner and back home by bedtime. but with her having cataract surgery yesterday, we will be delaying this little adventure a few weeks.

I'll get her a little stuffed animal or something just for putting up with me.

Nothing.

I always send flowers,a balloon,and candy.

Flowers and chocolates for my wife. She loves it, so why not.

I send flowers to my GF at work. She isn't really into flowers, but she loves the reaction she gets from the other gals in her office. I'll also do it every now and then at random times throughout the year.

And you can bet at least a few of those others gals ask themselves why they never get flowers.

In my previous job, there were at least 2 chicks sending flowers to themselves at work.
Pretty sad.

I'm thinking a large prime beef filet, some green onions and a large russet potato in a nicely wrapped box. We've been married 53 years and I know how to get to her heart.

'Gave her Tahitian pearls last Saturday for her birthday. She's getting 2 of the grandkids to keep tomorrow night. I can't compete with that.

She’ll get ridiculously expensive flowers and hopefully that’s good enough.

We are staying home and cooking a nice meal at home, watching a movie and maybe more.

All men at the grocery store had that ‘forced’ look on their face. It was ironic.

My wife and I enjoy taking to the road as well and have found some of our more memorable experiences to be at places we discovered by chance.

Flowers

Roses today. V-day is also our wedding anniversary. Got her tickets for Alan Jackson in Ft. Worth for next Sat. We'll also go out to eat tomorrow night.

Man, that was smart.

It was also my last day of chemo! Busy day indeed!

No gifts or cards between the Mrs. and I. I bought myself some fishing items and she bought herself some shoes.

Haven't exchanged cards, gifts, or gone to eat on Valentines Day since we had our first kid.

We'll share a bottle of wine and I'll watch a Hallmark Romance movie with her.

We were in need, sold my wife’s car to my son, Last week.

I had to work a couple days in Ardmore...after I finished the job I met SpitFire for lunch at 407 BBQ

A new dishwasher. Didn't want her to have to wash them by hand. Wouldn't want her hands to get all dry and cracked!

Actually took her to a Valentines Banquet,but I did install a new dishwasher during the day on Friday.
