That is true and they do 16 new episodes a year, so you do the math...........
Alright, I'll do it for you, $240,000. This is season 8.......$2,160,000.
Still, it's better than 95% of what is on TV. And I'm glad old Tom is getting some retirement money.

This

And gold rush is a good show too

Parker and Dutch boy Beets are a pain, but at the end of the season, their workers are happy going home with mucho gold.
Sitting on a good claim, combined with mucho TV money is an excellent combo.
Plus, they only work for 5 to 5 1/2 months tops.

My grandma Oxner always said that wrestling was real, and the moon landing was faked.

Mountain Men is much better than most of the hunting shows on TV. Tom the trapper and Eustice have some real old time skills. I think the new kid running the mountain lions is a better fit than old Rich.

Rich was a tool.

Eustice is a weird duck but I promise he knows more about the woods and old Tyme craftsmanship than most of us ever will.

Tom is just a cool old codger.

Marty is a cool guy to watch as well. I couldn’t deal with the loneliness he does I would be talking to myself after about 3 hours. But again, he has a camera crew so he really isn’t lonely....

What is a guy like Tom gonna do in Florida? That sounds like a slow death sentence.

If I recall correctly he has family there, maybe children.

It's entertaining every now and then but I'm pretty tired of all these reality shows.
