Those look great Ramball. Are you building your own feeder box and setting up you own logic control?

When I was talking about cleaning its due to the grease in the bottom. Not the cabinet itself.

If you go Pellet RecTec is the way to go, best pellet smoker for the price by far.

I just saw in person the new Masterbuilt Gravity Feed smoker and it's legit. It's in your price range, easy to use and gives a better smoke flavor than a pellet grill will.

My brother has had one for about a year, loves it so far.

They have a coupon code that makes them as cheap as I've seen

Pit Boss 820 $500 but you can catch them on sale for $400. I wrap foil over the drip dome under the grates and just wrap/toss it after the cook. No messy cleanups. They also make foil inserts for the drip bucket so you can just toss with no messy cleanup as well. Cooks like a champ. Drip dome slides over in the center to allow you to sear meat where needed. Holds temps great, no babysitting. Just load the hopper with pellets and fire it up. I use the Pit Boss competition blend pellets for red meats and their Fruit Blend Mix for pork and poultry.
