Looking for bag options for a shooting bench or range table.
What do you use?
I don’t not want a high roller Reebok pump with front back side to side 3 wheel motion model, just a bag
I’m primarily looking for a bag rest in place of the bipod or folded up coat, I’m good to go on rear bags

Get the Caldwell bag of your choice. The one above is good. I’ve yet to figure out how a more expensive bag is better.

Do a search for ‘butterfly bag’ or ‘butterfly shooting bag’ and you will find several to choose from. Best to order one empty and fill to match your needs.

Wiebad of your choice; the pump pillow is ultra lights and useable for a lot more than you think. Plus, they're made right here in Texas! (College Station to be exact.)

I use the butterfly style bags for all my testing. I will be purchasing a new one myself soon. I spoke with Robert at Weibad to make me one how I want it also. I need to pull the trigger on making it.

This is my favorite front bag I have this, it's great, cheap, and usually available at Academy (no shipping necessary). DO NOT let it get wet.

If you want to go ultra-cheap, there are knock-off's of the Caldwell bag on Ebay for $14 shipped. Search for "shooting bag rest". Just saying...

I use legs off of old blue jeans, use wire, tie wraps, electrical tape, seal one end, fill with sand, seal the same way...cheap, easy and stout....why spend money?

Looks like that Caldwell rest will fit right in the middle between the high rollers and the bubbas and booger pickers

I'm with the Bubba's and booger pickers on bags. I use these, front and rear. For the few rifles I have that don't have bipods, I've made blocks from 2 x 6, and 2 x 4" that stay on my bench. I can add, or take away and use these small bags that fit in my range box for the perfect elevation. Double them up (that's two bottles), fill and tie off with a small zip tie.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I made some for the blinds using hospital socks and no dust cat litter. Fill and sew the end shut and there you have it. Socks were free, bag of cat litter was a couple bucks. I made 4.
