Cowboys, Stampede, Beggars, After The Gold Rush, Baby Dolls, Confetti's, #3 Lift, Cafe Dallas, Sneaky Pete's, Terilli's and many others that I drank away to many brain cells Tonight started at Terellis! Then Dodies and then..... Usual vacation... Oh hell I forgot all about I believe my first disco hangout, Travis Street Electric Co. Sunday night was all of the beer you could drink, lots of fun and trouble

In Baytown I went to the KC Tavern, The Silver Spur, and Club 21 every Sunday morning.

Does the Cellar count? Used to be in Downtown FW. Johnny Gary or Grey was the owner IIRC.

Oh man, been to so many cool bars. Denim and Diamonds in L.A., Pop-A-Top in Yuma, Tiny's in Rosebud, Auggy's Delago in New Orleans (burned down long ago), Preservation of Jazz (also in New Orleans), Comfortable [censored] in NYC, Big Bob's Bareback Club in Cameron (pics of nekkie women everywhere) it became Big Bob's Steakhouse, Sloppy Joe's Key West, Shark Breath (also Key West) Whiskey River on Okinawa, Cryin' Shame in Waco (suicide dive).
ETA: OK, replace the [censored] with the common name for a rooster that starts with a C.

When I was stationed at Ft. Hood a bar in Lampasas called the Rattlesnake Inn was of limits. I drove by it every time I went to Austin or San Antonio, from the looks of it, Rattlesnake Den would have been appropriate. Rattlesnake Inn was between Florence and Georgetown on TX 195 ... and it was pretty rough to say the least. You didn't want to go there by yourself and whoever you took better like and be good at fighting. Was in there a few times with 2-3 of my college buddies that loved to fight and usually found someone that would oblige them. a few from my college days around Waco, Melody Ranch, Continental Cowboy, Cotton-Eyed Joe. Rambling Rose in Llano, Fuzzy's Corner at Lake Buchanan. Best of Texas in Granite Shoals.

I got curious and googled it, apparently it burned down in 2013, there was some information that it was the first bar over the county line. I would pass it taking 195 down to get on I 35.
