I wouldn’t call it the dumbest play ever. Guy knew time was expiring and was just trying to make a play to get a chance to score. Unfortunately for him, his team mate who was behind him just doesn’t notice the intent to lateral and the ball just goes to the ground. Feel bad for that kid. He’s gonna he a scapegoat for a game that shouldn’t have been close
