Twas a windy day... Birds getting up early... Twas using my new single shot pump 20gauge... still used ta me sweet 16 Remington 1100, i keep forgetting ta pump... Me bro's dog... Did awesome job... She is high strung... Groceries... be en tonight... Keep your head held high & your powder dry...

Let those things hang just as they are for about three days at 55 degrees. Then pluck and gut. Difference between the bird of kings and a ditch chicken.

Never tried that... Mainly cause would have ta hang em by a heater ta keep the 55 degree temps... Put these in sea salt & water let em soak then on D put one under red silo cup, for pheasant under glass, trying ta avoid dish's...

I kinda wish we had those temps after the Sept we had.

Just back from another pheasant hunt... Calmer winds... Most birds were getting up outa range... One didn't... Had a good time... Tonight switched over ta archery with crossbow... Still early in season... Keep your head held high & your powder dry...
