5, quite confident in that guess.

That is a tough one....first pic he looks 3 in body size/shape and his small hock pad is what you see on a 3 yr old, second pic he looks more like a 4 yr old in the shoulders and body but neck and hock still look like a 3 yr old. In the last pic his neck and head make him look more like a 5 yr old but has a really pointed hindquarters. The last pic he is walking and his body/neck has filled in more for the time of the year that could be making him look older. I would not be surprised if he was a large bodied 3 yr old with better pics. Won't argue 4 yr old guesses either though. Don't think I would call him 5 based off of just the last pic though. Really nice buck.

Thanks guys! I've been going back and forth on 3 or 4, but ultimately he would be my largest bow buck and I'd be darn proud to harvest him.

I've never hunted the panhandle but stxranchman has a bunch. That said, the buck looks four to me. Good luck!

I hunt up that way and I'd call that deer 5 with no hesitation.

3 yo. Very healthy and the deer are bigger in that area of Texas.
