What time of day is best and for how long spinner count have you found to be most productive?

I set mine for the time I want the feeder to go off during season, usually around 30 minutes prior to legal and 1hr before sunset and never change them. I do add a late feed time during the spring for does and fawns.

7:15 AM and 4:15 PM.
# of seconds on feed timer depends on type of feeder, how close the spinner is to the portal and etc . . . Test it several times until you get the amount you want out there.

I would set my feeders to go off right at legal shooting time, 30 minute before sunrise. But the deer would show and eat up the corn and leave in five-ten minutes. It was hard to get a real good look at them especially on a cloudy morning. Now days I set feeders for about 15-20 minutes before sunrise. The evening isn't as big of a deal, an hour or so before sunset. I reset them to be correct for the next time that I plan on hunting.
In the hot of summer while pig hunting I will set them to go off about 20-30 minutes before sunset. Our pigs aren't going to come out any earlier and it is just too dang hot to sit in a blind that long.

1 hour before sun rise and 2 hours before sunset. Modify accordingly as rise and set changes.

4 times per day for hunting season(rifle). 20 minutes before sunrise, then 45 minutes after the first setting for the mornings. Evenings I do the first setting around 4:30 and then about 5:15. Run time varies by the time I am feeding, closer to darkness I feed more and then more sunlight I feed less time. I road feed so it makes little difference on how long I run the cycle.

30 mins before sunrise and then 30 mins after that 2 hours before sunset and then 45 mins after that I have FeedSync remotes on all my feeders and will set the feeder off while hunting if I see a cruising buck or want extra feed down. I hunt hogs with thermal gear in the dark during the off season and the FeedSync remote is great at bringing them in.

Too many feeders to keep track of exact times, but around 7:15-7:20 am and 5:00-5:15 pm ... during season, I often add 6:45 am and 4:30 pm

8:00 AM and 3:45 PM. The critters have been patterned nicely, showing up at 7:30 AM to take their number and never any later than 3:50.
I am a bit amazed that I have deer and hogs waiting in the hot sun day after day. We'll see what happens after the shooting starts

We have lots of pigs and we don't have a pen around our feeders to keep them out. We have found that if we set the feeders in the morning to go off a half hour after sunrise, we get fewer pigs. Any earlier and the pigs seem to be more active. Evening feeders go off 2 hours before sunset. We change the time as the sunrise/sunset times change.

7 & 4 here on standard time. I would like to set the for 4:30 especially early in the season but I get overruled by my brother who is lease manager. Our blinds are in the pool. We do not have any personal blinds.

7 & 4 here on standard time. I would like to set the for 4:30 especially early in the season but I get overruled by my brother who is lease manager. Our blinds are in the pool. We do not have any personal blinds. At 7am, at the very end of the season, the feeder is going off when it's still dark. Deer come and are gone without you being able to see them. On my last lease, it took me a year to convince our lease manager of this fact and we compromised at 7:15am. He was stubborn, but he wasn't a sibling - that's a whole 'nother set of issues. I've experienced that too AND worked under him in a family business for 18 years. I feel your pain. 'Got my own place and the only person that tells me what to do now is my wife! 7:30am & 4:30pm CST, all year long.

7 am and 5 pm. When DST comes around I make an effort to to adjust the clocks. Mine run for 3 seconds on high. In all my years of hunting, I've never seen animals running to my feeders when they go off. They come when they're hungry.
Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I set all my feeders for 3 seconds at 7:30 am cst. No afternoon feeds. Sure cuts down on nocturnal activity. They still come to the protien in the evening. I started this last spring and will continue through deer season as an experiment.
There's only 2 seasons in a year. Deer season and getting ready for deer season.

6:30 and 4:30 feed times vary depending on the feeder. Eliminator spinner 8 seconds others 4 seconds.
