It used to be almost certain that any NR would get drawn. Not so much any more. It is getting harder every year. TV shows make it seem as if there are monster bucks behind every tree in KS and that is not the case at all.

Drawing a mulie tag is different. Residents dont even get drawn for mulie tags every yr.

Getting access to private land in KS for deer hunting is going to cost you quite a bit more than a bottle of whisky. The land owners know what NR are willing to pay.

I’ve been hunting up there far too long so I get it. There are several other members here that hunt up there and can probably elaborate more on what I am saying.
