Tried Jack in the Box tacos once, I think it was about 1980, once was enough.

I would guess that I’ve eaten an average of 6-8 tacos a month at Jack....since 1970. There was a time when you could buy 6 for a buck.
That’d be what....over 4000 of those suckers.....enjoyed every stinkin’ one!

When I was in High School, the only joint open, down on Main Street at 2 a.m. was Jack.
Those tacos were greasy in 1973 too but we loved 'em.

We had the good fortune of having access to both Taco Villa and Taco Bueno fast food, and were used to them, went to Dallas on business, and stopped at a Jack in the Box, damn near gagged on the crap they called tacos.
