Cool looking house, love the views but not what I would build.

Cool looking house. Thanks for posting. I'd love to have the detailed story about the who, why, where & what behind it's construction. I'm guessing the guy is in some type of business with access to shipping containers. Even at the price of $1.1M could that be due partially to it's location? What are the values of houses around it?

The company I use to work for had a subsidiary that precast modules in SA. These were cast of light weight concrete with steel flanges to welded them together. They were semi-finished & delivered by truck & ships. Our company build many hospitals, hotels & jail facilities when construction speed out-weighed conventional construction costs. The residential side of the business was mostly low-income housing & it was pretty much a bust for the company.

It is not in a traditional expensive neighborhood but that block is due to the views of the lake and city.

Used work that area often in the 80s . One of my favorite views. I was surprised to see that house. Sure does not fit the nieghborhood. There was quite a few nontraditional homes off Williamson across the lake.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Man I would have loved to been able to see that thing under construction as it was being built.
Yes, it's a little (or a lot) different but I like it. I didn't expect the cost to be what it was but to me it sure is nice.
I bet there are security features out the wazoo too. And I like the coiling steel doors on the east side. A person could have some well organized "stuff" behind all those doors. Like your own personal on site mini warehouse.

and yes to the no about eating fish out of White Rock lake or creek. People say fish like crappie don't live long enough to collect the contamination in the meat but I'm not buying that.
Just look at a map sometime at the drainage area of white rock creek and think of all the people who would dump a sack of Sevin dust rated for 2500 sq ft into a 10x10 flower bed and you'll know why I feel like that.

yep, that's the only problem i see with it. If I were to hit the lottery and could buy about a hundred or thousand acres, I think i would be real happy in a house like that.

I remember some controversy in the news from the neighbors when it was under construction. They didn't like it. I think it looks great. Beav's fossil would look great displayed in the yard. I'll trade my 70 year old home!!

If you ever do a shore clean up, you will be all in on the plastic straw ban! It is nuts the amount of plastic cups and straws in there. My sons friend has 9 hp jon boat they cruise around in. Pretty fun for 14 year olds to have a 1,000 acre pond to roam by themselves. Not sure how much fishing they do.
