Anyone tried the new Popeye's Chicken sammy? I love my Popeye's yardbird, but have also been a C-F-A sandwich fan given there seems to be a C-F-A on every corner vs. Popeyes, and it's also a very good sandwich.

I tried one of the new Popeye's sandwiches yesterday...C-F-A has met it's match, that was one good sammy! Same steamed bun concept, nothing but bird, pickles and bread though there is a sauce or two available if you want. Definitely not an also ran Wendy's, BK, McD's sorry sandwich.

Popeye's has the best fried coating and the spicy seasoning has always just been dead on.

Go get you one...

The reviews I have heard in my area is that popeye's isn't holding up to CFA.

I'll give it a try at some point.

When I am forced to go to CFA I get the original chicken sandwich, well done, add pepper jack cheese, and bacon. Then I have to get the waffle fries well done, because I hate soggy soft fries.

Both are opening near me at my new Walmart soon. Ask me later. Love Popeyes spicy chicken and ChiclFilL sandwiches.

Chic Fil A always has a long line of cars at the drive through, we do NOT do lines. Popeyes is more convenient, and we like their chicken.

The cleanliness and cs of cfa is winning.

MMM I love the ChickFilA spicy delux with some mayo and bbq sauce on it. If it had some onion it would be even better.

I don't do lines either but I have found that CFA is by far the fastest and most efficient drive thru I have ever been thru. That's not just one closest to me, but probably more than a dozen I have been to in different areas. They got that part down!

Popeye's chicken has nothing on CFA chicken.

Ive never been in a CFA drive through always eat in. But I do appreciate the fact that all the workers are clean cut, speak English, polite, and don't have facial piercings or are covered in tattoos. I never ate at a CFA before all the political jaz a long time ago. I probably never would have if it wasn't for that. I do like it though.

when busy, they have people outside that take your order, pay via credit/debit card (cash at next stop), swing around and another person asks for what dipping sauce (take cash) and give you a recipe, pull up to window and order is ready ... they work it exceptionally well. Even when the line is long...

I'd take a full CFA line over being just 2nd or 3rd at ANY other drive thru. CFA has that long line chit figured out.

Yes CFA lines are no big deal because they are so efficient and friendly.

I hardly eat Fast Food, but if I do it's Whatburger, CFA or Popeyes. The Popeyes sandwich is darn good, but too much break therefore I give the win to CFA. The fact I can have Red Beans and Rice instead of fries will keep me going back to Popeyes for a Sandwich.

I've heard the two closest Popeye's to where I live keep sailing out of them daily.

There is a reason cfa has one if not two lines wrapped around the building most of the time

used to love popeyes but they're dead to me now. worst service in the entire industry. screw them.

20 cars at CFA will be served faster than 2 cars at any Lubbock Popeyes.

I thought we were getting a new Kentucky Fried at my new Walmart center. There was a half block long building that had a KFC logo on it. I couldn't understand the size. I later found out the center was called Katy Fulshear Crossing.

CFA > Popeye’s by a wide margin. Service alone is enough to put up with the lines.

Or any DQ or Whataburger. I love the CFA app (I have kids...) No wallet needed, customize it and ready when you pull up. You can do drive thru or curbside. And get free food often from points and awards.

I don’t get it, “new” meaning it’s been out a few months but the hype is just now taking effect.

YES they ARE better than chick fil a’s sammich. I got tired of eating them cause I had so dang much haha
