No one is challenging your honesty or reputation. And certainly Cougar/Mtn. Lion exist many places throughout the State (and growing).

You don't cite the exact area of the Lease but if it is in North Texas (particularly West of Dallas/Ft.Worth) then documented sightings and even road kills support the assertion that big cats exist in the area.

https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/article203528199.html

As concerns your alleged sighting of a long-tailed cat crossing the road in front of you: You were there, we were not....and we will simply have to take you for your word.

What IS being called into question is the identity of the animal in the photo you provided.

Many things about it.... are just not consistent with the physical appearance of a Mountain Lion (of any age).

So again...the objection is NOT to whether there are big cats in your area, we simply question the animal in the photo is a Mountain Lion. Nothing else.

I hope you do get an unmistakable photo of a Mountain Lion on your camera. It would be further proof that these cats are doing well within our State.

While I will admit that Madonna may be strange, I don't consider her scary at all. You must be way younger than me, lol.
