The 80v leaf blower from Lowe’s is a beast. It’s good for about 15 minutes and has a 15 minute quick charger.

Amps is also a big difference in them as well, the higher the amps the longer it will run. The 40V are only like 5 amp. The Milwaukee are 18V but are 12.0 Amp for like weedeater and chainsaw, you do the math...

You can buy different amp hour batteries for most brands.

Yep, the newer tools have gotten so much better in just a few years.

Just wanted to give you a review. It's so nice just to pick up a cordless anything for a little growth or a few leaves. A primer bulb would now sound like too much trouble. I was a little anxious about going from an .095 trimmer line to the .085 but it gets things done. I have a lot of trimming to do and have yet to add new line. Love everything about it.

I'm waiting on the fall sales to complete my Ryobi set with a pole saw and weed eater.

Don’t fill that pole saw with oil until you need it I used mine a few time then the remaining leaked out 👎🏻

Heck, the oil leaks out of my Echo pole saw. As for weed trimmers, I just did both sides of 1/4 mile of fence with Echo and Stihl gas trimmers. Not ready to give that up for a battery powered unit.

Finally had to rethread my trimmer. It took seconds not minutes.

I only have 1, a 20v dewalt weed eater. I wanted to go with one of the larger 40V varieties, but got a great buy on this one on sale and bought it as part of a package with a blower, my FIL wanted the blower, so it was too good to pass up.

It has done me well. I live on 1.5 acres and if I don't let it go can weed eat everything I need to on one battery on the low setting. If I let it go and need to use the higher power setting I get close but cant quite finish. If I had 2 batteries it would be fine but I just have one 4 ah.

I will surely consider the cordless electric for my next chain saw/weed eater/etc.

My son has an EGO cordless mower and string trimmer. Less than a year old and he just got the trimmer out of the shop and now the mower has bit the dust. Glad they are still under warranty but they are saying 5 to 6 weeks to fix the mower.

They should replace it. Home Depot usually will. I walked up to the customer service counter one time with my Ryobi edger. Set it down and picked up a new one. All I got was a nod of the head. No words were spoken.

Well he bought it at the Home Depot in Waxahachie where he lives. He's already dropped it off and is in Michigan all this week for some training program for his work.
He's coming up this weekend to get my self propelled mower that I never use since I bought my Zero Turn.

I am almost completely electric at home, and 50% at our place in central Texas. 14" chain saw, weedeater, leaf blower(s), drill, impact, skill saw, sawzall, and screwdriver - all Ryobi. One benefit with all of these tools, I have a large collection of batteries of various sizes, and can usually get smaller jobs completed pretty easily. My biggest concern was the small chainsaw, but happy to report I can accomplish quite a bit of cutting using just a few batteries - just not suited for felling big trees.

I still have echo weedeater for bigger jobs on our property, as well as a selection of gas chain saws, but I just got sick of trying to start my yard equipment after it sits, and rebuilding carbs. Even using non-eth gas, I still have problems.

I haven't needed a new lawnmower - yet, but think my next one at home will be electric.

I started putting Sta-Bil in everything I use and I have had ZERO issues with restarting equipment. Had a 4 wheeler sitting for 2 years with sta-bil and it fired right up.
