The best thing about a block is it keeps the coons happy enough to leave your protein and corn feeders alone.

As long as I have those Wildlife Crunch blocks I have bucks, nice bucks too. Some may say it is a waste of money but at my place it is amazing to see them come and stay until they all get some of it. Come archery season as long as it is legal I will be using these blocks at strategic locations. (Hogs still have not touched that Apple Treeline Block I threw out even after breaking it up and dumping corn around it.)

we use the salt/mineral blocks from the local feed store - cheap and the deer love them
