Finally made it to the range. The extra flat-wire spring Bill directed me to worked beautifully with the 8-inch barrel, H2 buffer, and 130 HC/125 TNT/150 SST. Locked back on empty mags every time (tested about 25 times with 4 round mags) and recoil was very manageable. Ejection with 130 HC was just about perfect at 3-4 oclock. The heavier, slower 150 was a little less robust at approx. 4:30. This pistol will now fill the role of my primary home defense gun. Building a second one with the 11-inch barrel for my truck gun.
