A straight. 223 will drive an 80 gr at +/- 2900 fps depending on barrel length.

Good enough for me. Valkyrie hater. No man. It is a good cartridge, you know I am happy to try out something new. If the bolt face would fit more bolt actions, I'd be all about it. However, .223 brass is dang near free, and is free for me (range pick-up) so there's that.

Loaded a good bit of ammo for the wildcat version of the Valkyrie and the high energy powders from Vihtavuori such as n530 and N540 will do really well with the heavies and lighter bullets for that matter. Accuracy wise XBR8208 seemed to always shoot great across 4 different rifles I shot. These were 6.8 SPC necked down with improved 30 degree shoulders.

IMR-8208 needs to be treated like Fight Club. And what is the first rule of fight club?

IMR-8208 needs to be treated like Fight Club. And what is the first rule of fight club? Never hear of IMR-8208. Sounds fake.
