Mine are looking pretty good, starting to flower now. Got one field a little behind schedule, it had so many wildflowers they sorta choked out the sunflowers. But now that the wildflowers are starting to die the sunflowers are starting to come on.

Have never bought or planted a sunflower seed, all volunteer. You can buy just about any kind of sunflower seed you want at Turner Seed in Breckenridge.

We have 400 acres of sesame and 200 acres of sunflowers this year- all irrigated within 5 miles of the Uvalde/ Batesville city limits. I will post pictures next month.
